Wild Alaskan Company Facebook Ad (Spec)

The Client— Wild Alaskan Company is a business that provides subscription boxes featuring health food sourced from Alaska.

Their tone is insightful, relatable, and fun.

The Challenge— Wild Alaskan wanted a Facebook ad centered on brand awareness by introducing people to the health benefits of eating fresh-caught fish and providing a way to purchase it affordably.

The Audience— Active, health-conscious men and women aged 30-45. They want to feed their family a healthy diet without spending a lot of money.

The Solution— Since Facebook ads are very effective when they tell a compelling story, I used this ad to explore the creation of the subscription box. I hooked the reader in by asking some intriguing hypothetical questions, and then discussed the founder’s personal health journey.

I included a testimonial right after the questions so the viewer could quickly see it was worth their time to read through to the end.

I opted to capitalize and bold some key words and phrases so any skimmers would stop and be curious enough to read more closely.

The Call to Action is a softer “learn more”, rather than a hard sell. Since there is an educational aspect to this ad, it was important to nurture the customer journey a little more before having them commit to anything.
