Kensington Cat and Dog Home Brand Campaign (Spec)

The Client— Kensington Cat and Dog Home is a non-profit organization that provides medical treatment, foster care, and rehoming to animals in need.

Their tone is empathetic, supportive, and caring.

The Challenge— Kensington wanted a multimedia marketing campaign to promote brand awareness and increase the number of people making recurring monthly contributions.

The Audience— People aged 18-65 that live in the same state as the charity. They are animal lovers from various economic backgrounds and want to help in some way.

The Solution— Working with designer, Maryam Ashraf, we created webpages, Instagram ads, web ads, and posters to promote both general brand awareness and attract regular monthly donors.

I centered the copy around the idea that the reader is already a strong and capable individual so they are inspired to use their abilities to help these animals.

The media focusing on brand awareness highlighted their 3 main services—medical care, fostering, and adoption.

Because the audience represents a wide age range of people, we wanted to include several print media options and opted for large posters that people would see while walking, waiting in line, etc.
